Join us for a trip to the Oxtoberfest of the Oxford University German Society on Saturday, 16 November in Oxford! Celebrate Bavarian culture with German Beer, different food stands, Glühwein, a large Bierzelt and a DJ set. You will get your very own Stein Glas, imported from Germany, for you to keep as part of your ticket. With 500 guests this is the largest event of the year for the Oxford German Society, and not one you will want to miss out on!
Tickets will be made available at 5pm, Saturday 9 November. Deadline: 12 noon, Tuesday 12 November.
Ticket includes:
– A guided tour of some Oxford colleges
– Entry to the venue
– 1 Maß (= 1 litre) of Erdinger beer and 1 glass of Glühwein
– You will be allowed to keep your Maß beer glass (Stein Glas), imported from Germany!
There will be stalls at the Oxtoberfest where you can purchase food and additional drinks.
Travelling to Oxford:
Due to unexpected last-minute changes, we have not been able to organise a bus to take us to Oxford and back. You will have to make your own travel arrangements. If you enter your email address in the form when purchasing your ticket, we will be in touch to help coordinate travel arrangements. However, making the travel arrangements will remain your responsibility.
Schedule (preliminary, slight changes possible):
– 3pm: Tour of the colleges
– 4pm: Walk (35-40 min), bus (25 min), or taxi/Uber to the venue

Please note that you will be required to show proof of age at the door, and no alcohol or food is to be brought into the event.
