Fürstlich Castell’sche Domäne (https://castell.de/) is one of the leading German vineyards in the region of Franconia. The history of this family-owned vineyard dates back 800 years and is closely linked to the Silvaner grape that was most likely planted for the first time on German soil at the Castell vineyard around 1659. Nowadays, Fürstlich Castell’sche Domäne belongs to the Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates (VDP) that comprises the most prestigious German vineyards.
The event will start with a discussion about the history of Fürstlich Castell’sche Domäne with its future owner Carl Graf zu Castell-Castell followed by an elaborate wine tasting.
The event will be in English and is limited to 30 people.
